Configuring Your Connection

You need to set a connection default (Ethernet refers to your Internet network cable, Dial refers to your phone line):

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [2] for Communications

4) Press [1] for ComsPriority

5) Enter the correct code below

6) Once entered, press the green [OK]

7) Press red [X] to go back to welcome screen

Processing a Transaction

1) Press [1] for SALE

2) Enter sale amount and press green [OK] button

3) Insert chip card into reader, swipe the card or manually enter the card number

4) Have customer enter PIN and press green [OK] button

5) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Processing a Refund

1) Press [2] for RETURN

2) Enter refund amount and press green [OK] button

3) Insert chip card into reader, swipe the card or manually enter the card number

4) Have customer enter PIN and press green [OK] button

5) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Voiding a Transaction

1) Press [3] for VOID

2) Press [2] for Reference #

3) Enter the Reference number from the receipt and press the green [OK] button

4) The screen should now display the original transaction, select [SELECT]

5) Press [YES] to confirm void

6) Credit – Transaction authorizes

Debit – Swipe or insert card, have customer enter PIN and press green [OK] button

7) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Processing a Manual (Keyed) Credit Card Transaction

1) Press [1] for SALE

2) Enter sale amount and press green [OK] button

3) Enter credit card number and press green [OK] button

4) Enter expiration date (format: MMYY) and press green [OK] button

5) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Pre-Authorizing a Credit Card

1) Press [6] for AUTH ONLY

2) Enter amount and press green [OK] button

3) Swipe(black magnetic strip facing in), insert chip or manually key in credit card number

4) Press [OK] to confirm transaction amount

5) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Capturing a Pre-Authorization

1) Press [4] for FORCE

2) Enter sale amount and press green [OK] button

3) Swipe(black magnetic strip facing in), insert chip or manually key in the credit card number

– If swiped, enter last 4 digits of card, press green [OK] key

– If manually entered, input expiration date, press green [OK] key

4) Press [OK] to confirm transaction amount

5) Enter approval code (this can be found from the original receipt), press green [OK] button

6) Transaction authorizes

7) Select [YES] or [NO] for customer copy of the receipt

Settling Your Batch

1) Press [7] for SETTLEMENT

2) Select [YES]

3) Select [Accept] or [Cancel] to confirm totals

4) Settlement processes

5) Select [YES] to print reports

Viewing Prior Batch Totals

1) Press [#]

2) Press [2] for Batch Menu

3) Press [2] for View History

4) Press [1] for Batch # [2] for All [3] for Last Batch

Changing Settlement Report

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [4] for Settlement

5) Press [1] for SettleRpt

6) Press [2] for Summary Press [3] for detail

Automatic Batch Settlement

To set an automatic batch settlement, follow the instructions below. To remove the automatic settlement, the time should be set to “0000”.

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] Setup

3) Press [4] Transactions

4) Press [4] for Settlement

5) Press [6] for Auto Time

6) Enter the time (24-hour clock format) and press [OK]

7) Press the red [X] until you are back at the main screen

Enabling Tips

To enable the tip prompt on your terminal:

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [5] for Tip Options

5) Press [1] for Tip

6) Press [3] for Retail Tip

7) Press the red [X] until you are back at the main screen

When you process a new transaction, the terminal will ask the customer to enter a tip (either % or fixed $ amount).

Enabling Tip Guide (Tip Recommendation)

If you wish your terminal to provide a tip recommendation to your customer, you will need to enable the “TIP GUIDE” feature:

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [5] for Tip Options

5) Press [4] for Tip Guide

6) Press [1] for Tip Guide

7) Press [2] for “DISPLAY”

8) Press the red [X] until back at the main screen

By default, the terminal will recommend 10%, 15% and 20%. To change these recommendations:

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [5] for Tip Options

5) Press [4] for Tip Guide

6) Select Tip Guide 1, 2 or 3

7) Enter a new percentage and press the green [OK]

8) Press the red [X] until back at the main screen

Enabling an Automatic Tip

If you wish your terminal to automatically calculate a preset tip for your customer:

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [5] for Tip Options

5) Press [4] for Tip Guide

6) Press [5] for Tip Auto

7) Enter desired Auto Tip Percent and press green [OK]

Enabling Tip Adjustment

PLEASE NOTE:

With Chip & PIN credit and debit cards, the majority of merchants no longer need to use “Tip Adjustments”. However, some still require this feature for manually keyed transactions.

To enable Tip Adjustments:

1) Press [#]

2) Press [3] for Setup Menu

3) Press [4] for Trans Options

4) Press [5] for Tip Options

5) Press [1] for Tip

6) Press [2] for Std Tip

7) Press [2] for Tip Adjust

8) Select [ON]

7) Press the red [X] until you are back at the main screen

To perform a Tip Adjustments:

1) On the main screen, press [0]

2) Search for the transaction you want to adjust the tip for.

3) Once found, press [Select]

4) Enter tip amount and press [OK]

5) Press [Accept] to confirm tip adjustment.

You will be prompted if you want to adjust another tip

6) Press the red [X] until you are back at the main screen

Enabling Server Options

1) Press [#]

2) Press [1] for Server Menu

3) Press [5] for ClkPrompt

4) Press [2] for ID Only [3] for ID & Name

Creating Server IDs

1) Press [#]

2) Press [1] for Server Menu

3) Press [1] for Add ID

4) Enter server ID and press green [OK]

5) Select [YES] to add more [NO] to exit

Deleting Server IDs

1) Press [#]

2) Press [1] for Server Menu

3) Press [2] for Delete ID

4) Select [ALL] to delete all servers [ONE] to delete one server

For [ALL] select [YES] to confirm

For [ONE] enter server ID, press green [OK]

Printing List of Server IDs

1) Press [#]

2) Press [1] for Server Menu

3) Press [3] for Print ID List

List will print

Printing Report of Server’s Transactions

1) Press [#]

2) Press [0] for Report Menu

3) Press [3] for Server

4) Press [1] for All Servers [2] for Single Server, Enter ID and press green [OK]
